#runthecoast at GC50 Run Festival December 8
What’s your next challenge?
If you’ve recently completed a significant running milestone and are looking for your next challenge, then join us on December 8 as we tackle a variety of distances from 5km to 50km on the beautiful Gold Coast in sunny Queensland.
The GC50 Run Festival will use the footpaths and roads adjacent to the Gold Coast beachfront, home of the world’s most attractive beaches. The 50km event will have competitors running from Kurrawa to Coolangatta and back, providing spectacular views of the Gold Coast, with regular water stops and aid stations.
This year the 5km event will take place on the beach, along with the inaugural kids events. The GC50 Beach Run will offer runners the opportunity to run, jog, walk, or skip their way through the 5km course, with the low tide offering plenty of hard sand for participants. The event will start and finish within the GC50 Event Village in Pratten Park, Broadbeach along with all other events of the GC50 Run Festival.
The kids events at the GC50 Run Festival will have children choosing between the 1km and 2.5km events, with all participants receiving a medal for their efforts. Adults are permitted to accompany their children free of charge in either of the kids events.
GC 50 Run Festival offers events with a unique set of distances that provide a stepping stone for the running community, including:
