THE LAUREUS COMEBACK OF THE YEAR
WHERE?IN MONACO!
WHEN?
FEBRUARY 27, 2018!

So far this year, sports fans have been spoilt by unforgettable performances from sportsmen, sportswomen and teams, experienced inspirational comebacks and breakthroughs and witnessed hugely emotional sporting moments.

Once again, sport has delivered, and at the 2018 Laureus World Sports Awards, the world’s most prestigious global sports awards ceremony, we will recognise and celebrate all that has been good about sport in 2017.

At the 2017 Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco, addressing Usain Bolt, Simone Biles, Michael Phelps and other sporting greats, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco said: “Laureus is proving that sport can change the world one playing field at a time. The legacy of Nelson Mandela is still very present and very vibrant in all of us, but it is up to you and up to all of us to uphold this legacy and pass it on to the next generation.”

As there is no better place to celebrate this legacy, we’re proud to announce that the Laureus World Sports Awards will be making our own comeback to Monaco on Tuesday February 27, 2018, for an evening of sporting celebration. We’ll celebrate sporting excellence, while also recognising sport’s incredible ability to transform the lives of young people around the world.
