Mt. Baw Baw stays open until October 1, thanks to bumper season

Mt Baw Baw has announced they’re opening the snow resort until 1 October this year, which is a huge jump from last year, when they closed in August. It is a crazy season –  Mt Baw Baw had grass showing this time last year, but as of today – they’re blanketed in 73cm deep snow.

Due to the unprecedented extension, there are a lot of promos and deals on, so for those who missed the chance to ski, board, toboggan or just see snow at the start of the season, the opportunity is still available. Being only 2.5 hours away from the CBD, the mountain is perfect for quick day trips to get you amongst the white stuff, before the season ends.
