Imagine walking through bushland, so quiet you only hear the sounds of nature. Imagine walking sandy beaches where barely a soul has passed that day. Reconnect with nature on a guided walk, indulge in great food and amazing wine before returning to your luxury accommodation.

From May to October Walks With Nature will take you on guided day walks along the Heysen Trail, one of the world’s great long distance walks, stretching some 1200 kilometres through South Australia’s diverse landscapes. The trail begins close to Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula. All the packages have been created to show visitors the best of the stunning coastal and country scenery of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Walk through the pristine wilderness of Deep Creek Conservation Park. This national park that has the largest area of natural wildlife habitat on the Fleurieu Peninsula. You will walk through bushland with stunning coastal views to Kangaroo Island and the Southern Ocean. Or walk along the rugged cliffs close to Victor harbor and look for the Southern Right Whale which appears along the coastline between May and September migrating to the warm waters of the peninsula to mate and calve. An easier walk is through the South Mt Lofty Ranges over rolling hills, through native forests and past vineyards and plenty of time to stop and enjoy a wine tasting.

If you want to slow down, relax and escape the crowds, join us for a multi-day guided walking holiday. Walk in the morning and in the afternoon enjoy the local food, sample the local wines or explore one of the historic towns of the region. If you like to be spoilt the packages include guided walks, accommodation and food so you can just take it easy.

The groups are small and intimate with no more than 16 guests on each walk. The guides are local and have walked the trail on the Fleurieu Peninsula many times.  The walks are the perfect escape.
